Did he send you a Facebook invite yet? Made a comment on your status? Posted on your wall?

A guy under the name of Jeff Grover has added tons of NAGVA players for the past week and we still have no clue who is the face behind the name. If you have added him then you probably have the same question as to who this Jeff Grover is.

A lot of people have asked the same question over and over again ... Who is JEFF GROVER? If you have added him or recieved a friend request then u r probably asking the same thing. Does anybody really know him? It came from having 20 common friends on facebook and a hundred something friends in common in a day or two...

The more he adds people to his list, the more it gets freaky. LOL! If you know him, LET US KNOW!!! Post a pic of him or info or something! Better yet, "block" / "de-friend" / "Spam report time!" LOL! =P

A lot of you have texted, emailed and PM'ed me about this picture going around the web lately, Adam4Adam specifically... 
Well if you are an Adam4Adam member then you've probabaly seen this ad picture or totally ignored it! We had to talk to Olajuwon about the matter and thrown in some question and he openly answered.

When did you do photo shoots in the adult industry?

I did the pictures in 2008 and some in 2009, the ones in 2009 have not yet come out to the public just yet.

How did you get into it? How old were you?

I was 21 when I first started.... And companies started contacting me when I had facebook.

Does your family know?

My family does not know, well at least the important family members

Did they contact you before releasing the pictures? How did you find out that its all over a4a? Any reactions from friends?

OMG!!! I had no clue it was going to be on A4A I woke up to my phone going off at like 630am about two weeks ago from friends everywhere, (Denver, St. Louis, Cali, Ill, and New York & Seattle) Nobody really knew that I did it except for close friends.

Do you regret doing it? Would you ever do it again?

I never regret anything that I do. Trrrruuuusssstttt I get calls from my company all the time to come out there to Chicago and do a video, I just really havent had the time. So to answer that question I would possibly.

Any messages to the people who saw/will see this pics?

Ummmm the only thing I can say is buy my videos they are alot better.... hahaha. See everyone soon im sure, with clothes on!!!!! lol

Mardi Gras Classic XXVIII is FULL!!!

I dont know about you but the next tournament that im super looking forward to is the Mardi Gras Classic XXVIII. It was so much fun last year even if we didnt start playing pool play (A Division) til 6pm and had to wait for everyone to get done due to some facility maintenance problem with our gym. So basically a lot of us stayed in the gym almost 15 hours or more, from waiting til playing and ending pool play. But oh well!

If you havent checked the NAGVA website lately then you probably dont know that the New Orleans Tournament is already FULL!!! We were hoping that the New Orleans Tournament Director would be opening up some more spots for each division according to the email that was sent dated November 3rd by the Mardi Gras Classic Register.

The tournament director just sent an email (literally!!!) that the confirmed teams that made it are final and registration is CLOSED. See below for the email ...

Due to an unprecedented rush to submit registration fees earlier than for any prior Mardi Gras Classic, we can now announce that all divisions are completely full with 24 B teams, 36 BB Teams, 14 A Teams, and 6 AA Teams.  The following teams have been placed on the wait list for the respective divisions:

We will hold each teams position on the wait list until November 30, 2010.  On November 30, 2010 we will automatically refund/return payments to all wait listed teams.  We will however keep the priority of the list as it stands on November 30, 2010.  Should teams have the opportunity to enter the tournament after this date, we will make alternative payment arrangements.

REQUESTS FOR IMMEDIATE REFUND & REMOVAL FROM WAITLIST:

Requests to have your registration fees returned immediately and your team removed from the wait list prior to November  30, 2010 must be:

1)      Submitted by the registered NAGVA Team Representative 

2)      E-mailed to Rob Warren at vno@volleyballneworleans.com

We will make every effort to process these requests within two (2) business days. 

We wish we could have accommodated all teams that wanted to participate in our tournament.  We invite you all to join us in New Orleans to cheer on your friends and be part of the fun!

WOWza! Its at least 2 months before the tournament and its already FULL! Who didn't see this coming? The tournament filled up right away as soon as MGC was posted in the NAGVA website. Then as the weeks go by (even before Las Vegas Tourney) there was couple of teams confirmed and paid already.

The question is, why did BB get more spots than other Divisions? With all the uprating from the past season, isn't just fair to have at least equal amount of spots in each division? I mean, good for BB but at the same time 14 teams for A division and 6 teams for AA division compared to 36 BB division and 24 for B division? Did they send the money earlier than the other teams from A and AA division? We don't know. All we know is that there are a lot of players most especially in A division looking for a team since their teams didn't make the cut. A lot of teams are probably disappointed as well that they didn't make it but at the same time maybe payments were not sent on time (typical NAGVA players waiting last minute. lol)

I know couple of people who are looking for a team so we have some work to do to help coz we want to see everybody there as much as possible. Most especially its NOLA, it will be so much fun.

NAGVA TREND!!!

OK ... OK ... Its not just NAGVA players but everybody is. But if you have an iPhone or Droid then you are probably one of us. Tons of NAGVA players has been reported to be hooked with this new app.

Its a new app that lets you send voice messages (just like Nextel back in the day) instead of text messaging (safer than texting and driving). NAGVA players has been reportedly doing a looooooooooooooot of DRUNK HEYTELLin which we think is HILARIOUS (right Nate? Sheona? Grimace?) HeyTell is super fun most especially the messages just goes back and forth and the hilarity of the conversation just builds up. Its an amazing app for Express Gossiping as well. LMAO!

We wonder what Heytell story will you have... and please do share!!!!

Ooopsie!!! ANOTHER NEW TREND ALERT!!!

Are you one of the players who meets somebody on a tournament and will be smitten the whole weekend but the distance after the tournament is on the way? Are you just wondering after how many days, weeks and months that you have been talking to each other and figuring out how will you see each other again? Or better yet? Its another new app that lets you send text messages to another "friend". Whats nice about it is that not only iphone and droid can cross over with this app but blackberry users gets to play as well.

Stalking you say? KIK has a feature that will let you know that your message has been Delivered, Sent and Read so you would know if the person ur messaging is IGNORING YOU!!! LMAO! Another feature of the app is that it detects who on your phonebook has the app so it suggests friends for you itself.

So jump in and join the fun! We are currently super addicted to HeyTell but we can see KIK coming in anytime soon. And YES TAO! (from SoCal) the APPs are FREE!!! (or so we think. lol)

Manwelita heats up Japan

You might have seen her in Vancouver Queen Vicki this pas weekend but our Mini Manwelita flew from Vancouver to Manila and final destination ... Japan!

Nope, she is not working the corner or maybe she is one of the Tranny Centrals of Asia but she is there to witness the FIVB Women's World Championships thats gonna end up in about 5-6 days.

Manwelita mentioned couple of times in his status that he wasn't sure if Japan is ready for the Latino Heat that he is about to bring. We say, are they even ready for all the hair products she packed for her trip? And are they even ready for the Latino Bangs that he has?

RPV gets his A status! Nakamura still BB?

This is looooong way overdue! And we expected it coming! RPV finally got his A rating with NAGVA on this weekends Queen Vicki Tourney up in Vancouver, BC. RPV has been playing in A division the past  tournaments but seem to find his way not getting uprated. But with the small amount of players that needed to be rerated this weekend, there was no escape!

Meanwhile, there are rumors that Nakamura got uprated as well but he is denying this rumor. He said there was no paper signed and he is still BB! We will wait in 30 days and check the NAGVA websites.

What do you think? Is Marc still BB or A?

PDX Volleybelle gets his other B!

I know it's just pool play but we all know how the fast the rerates are going around in every NAGVA Tournament.

Portland Volleybelle Nick Koehler got his BB rating today at D Vancouver Queen Vicki tournament. Nicky posted on his status saying "having a blast in Vancouver. Finally got the other B"

Congrats Nicky!!! I personally think that this is a long way overdue. You've been playing hard the last tournaments I've seen you and you deserve this. Be safe and have fun!

Queen Vicki Vancouver NAGVA tournament

This weekend is the Vancouver Queen Vicki Tournament and I'm quite sad that we are gonna miss it this year (damn passport)!!!

The weekend promises a fun and competitive tournament regardless of the turn out. The Modified A/AA Division has 4 team, 6 teams for BB and 10 teams for the B division.

Every year, VGVA with the leadership of Trevor Fraser always gives out some cool prices and provides a very entertaining Seeding Party and this year will be no different. I wonder who's gonna win the cat walk contest this year.

ChaCha BUZZ wasn't able to get as much information regarding the PNW Triple Tiara Award which is awarded to the team with most team wins or points. There is a possibility that the TJ Award will be given just like the past two years (ChaCha was the recipient last year). The TJ Award is to honor TJ, a NAGVA player who passed away several years ago who is a great player and volunteer with tournaments for many years. The award is given to a plater who embodies the same.

Sadly, this is the first time that ChaCha will miss this tournament after many years of participating and supporting such a fun weekend plus celebrating my actual birthday in Vancoucer every year will be missed.

Mardi Gras Classic XXVIII

If you are signed up as a team coordinator for this season NAGVA Tournaments then you probably got the email about the UPDATE regarding the New Orleans Tournament in January 2011. ChaCha BUZZ is not surprised that the tournament is filling in so fast because this is one of the tournaments that most players look forward to every year. ChaCha was there January 2010and it was a blast, and cant wait to do it again.

Tonight the Mother Eywa of all will be a Fierce Montecarlo and will be showing how its done!!!

The one and only Elite ChaCharazzi Status Sheona Traylor shares her story about her experience this weekend in Vegas tournament! She skipped some "personal" details that we know of but its a good read! Most especially how the All-Star and MVP Awards were given out. Enjoy!

My goodness yall. Vegas was a hoot! I had such a great time. So many fond memories to share, and you know this bitch is usually burning a sweet sacrifice to honor mother nature and is a bit dizzy most all of the time. Well thank goodness I got this new ChaCharazzi ELITE STATUS™ smart phone, because now I can remember all the fine details of my adventures! Nobody is safe around Sheona Traylor… You might think you are “safe” surrounded by a crowd while you do nasty bits on the dance floor, but you know she just gets her heels out, elevates above the crowd and takes the aerial view photos (and videos)!

I arrived Thursday night and enjoyed the 3.99 steak & eggs at the host hotel café. Any time I can spend less than $5.00 on food, Sheona is all over it like Grimace’s vomit in the gutter after… well any night really. The best tasting part was the bill though.

Friday afternoon was spent visiting my dad who lives in Vegas… my obligatory once a year visit. I’m glad I had no car this year. Makes it easier for short visits! Lunch ended and I went back to the hotel for a nap. I wish it could have been a breakfast meet up with my dad because that all-you-can-eat buffet with the Seattle/Hawaii crew sounded like a dream come true!

Registration was later, and alcohol was flowing and the marys were feeling NO pain! This is evidenced by all the lovely video and photos involving many scandalous things… like a BYE GIRL tranny grinding up some dirty dance moves with HOMOSEXUALS! (disgusting!) and also some messy marys doing body shots off of a server at the Freezone bar. This may or may not have included the following: Grimace, Auntie Aaron, Sali, JenJen, Lefty Justin, and Shelf Bootay! I’m sure there were more but Sheona can only handle so much camera work. We all waited for midnight to head back to the host hotel where a large group gathered for the midnight to 6:00am $3.99 steak and egg special.

Saturday morning started off with more of a whimper than a bang. The ghetto courts were not ready or available for the participants to begin on time. In fact, the net they tried to set up was held together with Velcro straps in the middle! Yall, I haven’t see anything like this since we used duct tape and a piece of rope as a volleyball net back at the trailer park. They finally fixed the situation and pool play started. I will say that the pool that Sheona’s team was in was definitely the hardest pool in the gym. Hawaii, Chicago Findfred.com, San Francisco Freeball, and Aca Beach… all these teams remained in the winners bracket for most of the tournament play on Sunday, so you know it was the tougher of the pools. Sheona’s twin showed up on Saturday as he has been staying in Vegas for physical therapy. It was great to see him, but I’m sure he was bored with all the down time. I went to dinner with Phil(thy) and my grandma and then back to the hotel. I joined my teammates to head to the Wynn tower suites to join Jim Holt for his 30th birthday celebration. Drinking games began and unfortunately Sheona’s cell phone was out of batteries. Otherwise, she would have been snapping for DAYS with all the tragic kissing and other events going on… One Seattlite was most scandalous in the massage room with a few of the boys!!! The PRICE was RIGHT that night, that’s for damn sure! I do believe Houston’s Mattress also got married that night, but we can leave those details for her to share with us… (or just instant message Sheona on facebook for the deets!)

Sheona had enough of that mess and went back to her hotel for beauty sleep (she needs LOTS AND LOTS of it!). Mattress and KeKe headed over to Freezone for a bit. Mattress came home, KeKe simply showed up to the gym the next day. YOU GO BITCH! Werq!

Sunday started off painful. It was early, we were all tired trannys, but everyone showed up and we started off pool play. We first played Pure Energy, and it was pure easy. I pulled my right calf on this match and just had to keep it moving and stretched out the rest of the day. This was followed by a match with LAPD. The first game had some drama after our win. Apparently LAPD didn’t like a few double calls the ref made at very non-crucial moments in the game (losing by a margin of at least 4-5 points), so they decided to protest the match to determine if the ref was certified. Turns out, he was fully NAGVA certified. The loss was legit. Game 2 started and was over in a blink. ‘Chicago’ said “bye girl!” to the first 2 LA teams we faced. The next match would take place a few hours later against Hawaii. The wait was horrendous, but we had no choice. We finally faced off against what I would call the best defensive team in the gym. They beat us the first game, but we rallied and came back the next two games. The game was OOVA and Hawaii was sent to the losers bracket. This match was super close and the Hawaiians gave us a run for our money. I loved playing against them because they are so friendly and always smiling… well except Cliff. She was probably ritaz and hung over. After this match, we were all sent packing over the UNLV for the remaining rounds of play. Next match up was against yet another team, Aca Beach. We took them down in 2 solid games. Sheona FINALLY clicked with her setter and bashed a couple of middle sets down! Luckily I had my calf wrapped up tight in a compression sleeve so it helped out a lot.

We watched the remaining losers bracket matches to determine who we would face off in the finals. Aca Beach vs. Phoenix for the semi-final, and Phoenix rallied to beat Aca Beach! So, we would face off against Phoenix Thunder in the finals. The match was fun but really, I think Phoenix was either out of gas, or just couldn’t handle the make up of our team… Phoenix was easily defeated in 2 games. Sheona had the dig of her life with a one fist dig nobody thought she’d get shortly followed by the worst mangled set of her LIFE! I felt like the Grimace when my claws came out and tried to shred that ball to pieces. Oh well. I did my thang on the right side, shutting down the outside hitter from Phoenix, who later won tournament MVP for the A Division… Really? I mean… really? How the hell is that determined? Did anybody voting actually watch the finals? She had nothing. One Sheona roof block and she was done. She couldn’t even tip effectively after that. Their best options were their silver fox daddy middle and lefty drunk oppo Ms. Heath and the daddy setter just dumping the ball. Phoenix was dispatched and Chicago Findfred.com found Gold.

Tony from our team received an all star award for his performance… but no one else earned an award. Victoria was amazing with her serving and hitting from the outside… Ricardo was the one of the best “male” passers and liberos by far I have ever played with… Mattress was crackin down balls over and past blocks all day long… KeKe was workin that back slide for days (when the set was above the tape! Lol), Sheona was putting up some aluminum siding WALLS she salvaged from her trailer on the right side block… While I can’t say I’m surprised I didn’t get any award (as my performance this weekend was stifled by a pulled right calf which screwed my timing up), I was rather in shock that our Libero or outside hitters had no mention. I really think in order for any all-star voting system to work, all games need one vote per game per team. How in the world the MVP goes to a person who was almost non-existent in the final is beyond me. But congrats to her for your performance before the finals match. I guess you must have earned it earlier in the day!
The rest of the trip had little to mention. Many of the marys went to Revolution… Sheona got her own room and visited with Saia and Mike who were across the hall, but Sheona is classy and will not be mentioning the rest of the evening/morning. Smooches!

Remember the GGW insident that happened last year when Grimace started doing body shots with the servers of Freezone at the Registration party? Well, well, well ... the girls leveled it up at this years registration party and did some lil dirty things!!!

SPOTTED: Noel Rivero of Texas was spotted drooling over some half naked AA players on tournament play at UNLV Sunday!

According to Sheona Traylor, Noel's drool was all over the floor and could have caused an accident to the pictured AA players (which we dont know who are they. lol)

It's Vegas Baby!!! (updated pool play schedule)

We had such a blast last year that we just have to do it again this year! October 23-24 is the NAGVA Sanctioned "Its Vegas Baby" by CAVO (California Volleyball Organization).

The weekend promises a lot of fun and alot of volleyball since the turn out of the teams that signed up is pretty amazing...

B- 12 teams
BB - 23 teams
A - 18 teams
AA - 12 teams

Tournament Director Balta Delgado together with the Regional Commisioners Jim Moore, Bill Horn, Jonathan Daclison made things happen by adding more spots for the teams that are interested in each division and we are SUPER EXCITED!

Rupert Serrano's Famous RED FAN

This was taken from Portland NAGVA Championships 2010 when most of the Filipinos was goofing around with Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Rupert carries this around the tournament all the time and we know she probably has a lot of this! From what we heard WeHo Flash Ina Montecarlo has this fan and would be bringing it to Vegas Tourney.

I truly miss you Rupert!!!

RIP Rupert Serrano (updated with Funeral Service schedule)

This is a very sad day for the NAGVA community where we lost a good friend, a good player and one of the most positive spirit out there.

Rupert Serrano passed away due to Pneumonia (?) this morning after spending at least a month in the hospital in life support. Rupert was scheduled to play in Emerald City Cat Fight in Seattle last month with Seattle Battle Cattle but was sent to the hospital days before the tournament.

If you don't know Rupert, he was one the people we know who is high spirited, tons of positive energy and makes sure he makes everybody happy and laugh. He was also known for his very famous huge Red Fans and Kabuki umbrellas walking around and snapping it around.

You will be missed Rupert! Our prayers goes to you and your family! We Love you!

Volleyball Seattleites Allan C. and Luke B. posted a YouTube video for Spencer (Vancouver,BC) who recently moved back to his hometown Utah! Spencer has been playing with a Seattle team lately for NAGVA tournaments and he definitely found his volleyball family .
